About Lesley

All through her childhood, Lesley Tuchten assumed she would end up at the United Nations, solving international conflicts and generally being fabulous and successful.

 

So it came as a surprise to discover she really wasn’t cut out for that kind of work. 

 

10 years after running away from traditional employment, she is even more surprised to find herself rather successfully sculpting the pets of South Africa.

 

She remains mostly feral, despite the best efforts of her parents and community. Fortunately, she now lives in the rural hamlet of Riebeek West with her husband, 4 dogs, and one lunatic cat.
